St-Peters-book-wA NEW book about the NVA project at St Peter's Seminary, Cardross, will be launched at Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre in East Clyde Street on Thursday December 8.

A drinks reception will be held at 6.30pm, and will be followed by a talk by Angus Farquhar and Diane Watters. This event is free but ticketed, and very few tickets remain.

The book, 'St Peter's, Cardross: Birth, Death and Renewal', was published on Wednesday November 30 on the 50th anniversary of the day the building opened.

It tells the whole story of the commissioning, decline and resuscitation of St Peter's Seminary, and can be bought online now at this link, at a special discounted price of £20 (RRP £30) with free P&P using the code STPETERS20 (offer valid until December 20 2016).
