THE Arrochar-based Hidden Heritage project is told a free Hidden Heritage Conference on Saturday May 10.

The main focus of the project is the Vikings and how they used the isthmus between Arrochar and Tarbet, and their influence on the area.

Various speakers will reveal and explain the discoveries made during the project, and share their thoughts on the role of heritage in the community. Refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided.

On Sunday May 11, there will be guided walks along the Hidden Heritage Trail, with experimental archaeology demonstrations including boat dragging, dry stone walling, flint knapping and prehistoric water heating.
