HELENSBURGH Heritage Trust members were invited to a talk given at the AGM of the Helensburgh Tree Conservation Trust on Tuesday May 14 2013.

The Tree Trust AGM consisted of a brief business meeting, followed by a talk by Tom Christian, Keeper of the National Tree Collections of Scotland at the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh. Tom visited Helensburgh recently and was very interested in the town's street trees.

The meeting was held in the conference suite of the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel in Luss, formerly the Colquhoun Arms Hotel. The Heritage Trust has been a member of the Tree Trust for several years.
