Trust website milestone

four-million

A NEW milestone was reached by this Helensburgh Heritage Trust website this month — the four millionth content view hit.

The website was redesigned in July 2009, and since then it has had an amazing 4,056,000 visitors, each looking at an average of over three pages.

It has proved a huge resource on Helensburgh and district's people and events, and email inquiries and comments are regularly received from all over the world.

At the time of writing the site contained 1,060 articles, with just short of 2,000 images in the Photo Gallery.

The most read articles are about the alleged Rhu murderess Madeleine Smith and the tragic film star Mary Ure — each with nearly 24,000 hits.

Many thanks to all who visit the website, and have a very happy festive season!
